About 2820

Faith. Fire. Family.

A Bible-believing Christian church โ€” built on the Gospel, kept by the Spirit, and called to make disciples who make disciples.

Built On A Burden For Lost Souls.

2820 Church began with something simple: prayer, the Word of God, and a burden to see lives changed through Jesus Christ.

The Beginning

A House Of Prayer.

Before there is a building, a stage, or a full ministry schedule, there is a house filled with people seeking God together. That is the heart of who we are. We believe the church is not built first by walls, lights, or programs, but by people who gather in faith, love one another, and obey the Word of God.

Right now, 2820 Church is growing as a house church while preparing for the next step: moving into a permanent building where we can serve more people, reach more families, and build stronger ministries for the community.

Today

A Family On Mission.

Today, 2820 Church gathers every Sunday at 11:00 AM as a Bible-believing Christian church committed to prayer, discipleship, worship, evangelism, and service.

We are a family of believers who want to see people know Jesus, grow in faith, and walk in the purpose God has for their lives. Our church is multigenerational, community-minded, and focused on making disciples who live out their faith beyond Sunday service.

From worship to men's fellowship, from prayer gatherings to outreach, from community service to evangelism, every part of who we are exists for one reason: to preach Christ, make disciples, and see lives transformed by Him.

Our Heart

Built On The Word.

2820 Church is a Bible-believing Christian church. We believe the Word of God is our foundation, our authority, and our guide for life.

We are not trying to chase trends or build a church around popularity. We want to build according to Scripture. That means we are committed to sound teaching, sincere worship, fervent prayer, genuine fellowship, and a lifestyle that reflects Jesus Christ.

Our desire is simple: that every person who comes connected to 2820 Church would encounter God, understand His Word, and grow into a faithful disciple of Jesus.

Our Community

Serving Beyond The Walls.

Even as a house church, we believe the mission of the church reaches far beyond where we gather.

2820 Church is committed to being present in the community through acts of service, outreach, evangelism, prayer, and compassion. We want to be the kind of church that does not just invite people in, but also goes out to meet people where they are.

Whether that means helping families, encouraging youth, supporting neighbors, praying with those in need, or creating opportunities for people to experience the love of Christ, we believe the church should be visible, active, and useful in the community.

Where We're Going

A Vision For More.

We are thankful for where God has us now, but we believe this is only the beginning.

As 2820 Church prepares to move into a building, our vision is to create a place where families can worship, children can grow, leaders can be developed, the community can be served, and the Gospel can be preached with clarity and power.

We are building for Sunday worship, but also for everyday impact. We see a church that serves the neighborhood, trains disciples, supports families, develops ministries, and becomes a place of hope for the community.

Statement Of Faith.

We hold to the Bible as the Word of God and the foundation of our faith โ€” centered on Jesus Christ, strengthened by the Holy Spirit, and lived out through the local church.

01

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God โ€” sufficient for faith and practice.

02

One True God

There is one God, eternally existing in three persons โ€” Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

03

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, raised bodily, and coming again.

04

Salvation

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone โ€” not the result of works, that no one may boast.

05

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowers them for ministry, and produces the fruit of Christlikeness.

06

The Church

The Church is the body of Christ โ€” called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and the Great Commission.

07

Resurrection

All people will be resurrected โ€” believers to eternal life with Christ, and unbelievers to eternal separation from Him.

08

The Great Commission

We are commanded by Christ to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them to obey everything He commanded.

Meet Our Pastor.

2820 Church is led by a shepherd whose heart has always been for the people he serves.

Pastor Yves Theodule, Senior Pastor and Founder of 2820 Church

Pastor Yves Theodule

Senior Pastor & Founder

Pastor Yves Theodule has been serving in ministry for over 30 years. His life has been shaped by the call of the Lord, and since the day he said yes, he has continued to pour into people wherever Jesus Christ has placed him.

Pastor Yves is a shepherd at heart. He is a husband, father, teacher, mentor, and friend, but beyond titles, he is someone who genuinely cares for people. He has always been down to earth, easy to talk to, and close to the people he serves. He does not lead from far away or above the people. He walks with them, prays with them, carries burdens with them, and helps them keep going when life gets heavy.

Over the years, the Lord has used him to plant many seeds. Some were planted through preaching, some through teaching, some through counsel, and many through simple acts of love and service. Pastor Yves has always had a way of bringing people together, creating memories, building relationships, and making people feel seen. Whether he is planning activities, working with his hands, helping families, teaching students, or encouraging someone in need, his ministry has never been limited to a pulpit.

That same heart is seen through SEVY SPD, a sterile processing training program he has taught for over 15 years. Through this work, Pastor Yves has helped thousands of people gain skills, find jobs, and build better futures. For many years, he did it freely, not for recognition, but because he wanted to help people move forward.

One thing that has never changed is his commitment to the Word of God. Pastor Yves does not preach to impress people, please people, or follow what is popular. However the Lord gives him the Word, that is how he gives it to the people. He preaches with conviction, truth, love, and reverence for God.

His life is a reminder that when one person says yes to Jesus, many lives can be touched. Through the seeds he has planted, watered, and nurtured, many have grown, many have been strengthened, and many continue to bear fruit for the Kingdom of God.
